A Good Decision?
It seems I made a good decision regarding my little walk about camera. I’d just suggested the S90 to friends and family too! http://www.neutralday.com/best-digital-cameras-of-2009/ A great little summary of the best cameras of 2009. Posted via email from Rupert Marlow Photography | Comment »
London on the Panazonic Lumix GF1
I got back late last night from a weekend in London, where I was visiting family. I had my new camera with me and was thoroughly enjoying using it in The National History Museum, Portobello Road and in Peter Jones (Sloane Square), and a few shots from the inside of Fortnum and Mason!!! Here are some of the images: See the full gallery on posterous I was quite pleased with its performance but...
Lexington images online
You’ll find on this site, a set of images that I took on a Sunday on a long, lunch-less day from 9am - 7pm. I made the ‘Lexington Bed’ a good 50 times. http://www.concepteastcoast.co.uk/ A great day working on product photography. It was pretty rewarding to see them up online with one of the UK’s few Lexington suppliers. As I stated, the images were shot on a Sunday and...

New Set from the Lumix GF1
I have been out again and have taken a new set of shots from Stroud. Here are more images taken in a half hour. I like industrial images as I think it is a shame that some of the UK’s industry has been stripped away by the cheaper industry and manufacturing overseas. Some of the images here are of Brunel’s Shed in Stroud, near the station. Others depict various parts of the town.I...
Panasonic Lumix GF1
Morning!I received my brand new Panasonic Lumix GF1 in the post today! I have been umming and aaahhing about which camera to have as a spare/walk-about as my 5D MK2 and lens array weighs a ton and is extremely valuable!I decided to go for the Panasonic Lumix GF1 over and above the Olympus E-P1/2 as I thought the obvious omissions in the E-P1 were foolish and the rapid release of the E-P2 suggested...
Yet more waiting
More table tennis and sunbathing… 8 December 2009 There is an enormous low pressure to the north (the same one that has been battering Blighty) and there is an enormous front spanning the whole of the mid-atlantic. It is likely that we will be on the receiving end of some severe weather later this week and to let the fleet set off tomorrow would be noithing...
My activities this week
Hi thereAs you may have read in previous blogs, I have been helping my brother in setting off on his Atlantic crossing. As a result of this monumental decision, Charlie and his rowing partner Matthew have had to raise around £80,000 in sponsorship! One of the sponsors had asked me to photograph their logos and the 2 watched they donated to Charlie and Matthew for their trip. The gallery below...
Will the flares arrive?
7 December 2009 There flares have still not arrived but we are told they are on their merry way down from Portugal… We had a cracking outing today and our problems with the steering seem to be resolved thanksto some design amendments by Jamie and a delightful pair of brown velcro sandles- you know the type! We also deployed the sea anchor for the first time and ended...

Hi Everyone. I am currently out in La Gomera supporting my brother on his trans-atlantic row from the Canrie islands to Antigua. There are updates regularly on www.atlanticrow.com. He will be rowing 3600 miles accross the atlantic under manpower...
